Concurrent user error message -- Use the Session Manager to clear disconnected sessions

Should you receive a message indicating that your login attempt is denied due to a "concurrent user/sesion" you may need to forceably close your Xcentric Cloud session. Before using the Session Manager, please try the "Reconnect" option within the CLoud portal.  IN some instances, your session may become unresponsive or you may have a disconnected session that you are unable to reconnect. Using Account Center you can close an open Cloud session even if you are unable to log out on your computer.

Closing an Xcentric Cloud Session from Account Center

  1. Log in to Account Center using your Xcentric Cloud account.
  2. On the My Account menu, select Logoff Cloud Session.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the session you want to close.
  4. Click the Log off selected sessions button.

Note:  When possible, you should save any open documents before logging off a session. This process will force all of your open applications to close.

Firm administrators can log off a session for another user by impersonating that user.  For a video tutorial demonstrating how to impersonate a user and log off their Cloud session, please see the User Administration Tutorials inside Account Center.
