What steps do I take if I lose my smart phone

Here are the steps that should be taken in the event that a smart phone is lost:

1) Call the device's phone number to verify that it's not misplaced and within close proximity.  Hopefully an honest person will answer and assist in returning it to you.

2) If step 1 is unsuccessful, contact the Xcentric Support team immediately and report it lost and they will send a 'wipe' command that will remotely erase all data and settings.

3) Contact the cellular carrier to report that the device has been lost/stolen.  Often times they will mark the ESN (which is a unique identifier) as "stolen" which will prohibit service activation on that device.
