How Can I Request Administrative Access to Account Center?
Xcentric's Account Center allows approved firm employees the ability to manage Xcentric Cloud user accounts.
Two administrative user levels are available for Account Center:
Administrator: This role has administrative rights over your firm’s account and the individual users. Your firm can have as many as two individuals assigned to this role. Functions available to the Administrator role are:
- Reset user passwords
- Unlock user accounts
- Assign email aliases
- Change mailbox size
- Assign ActiveSync data phone
- Assign BlackBerry data phone
- Create new user accounts
- Disable user accounts
- Enable user accounts
- Assign applications to users
- Assign applications to groups
- View system usage reports
- Manage distribution groups
- Manage global contacts
- Manage public folders (if enabled)
- Manage resource mailboxes
- Manage global mail disclaimer
Power User: This role has limited administrative rights and is used for resetting users’ passwords. Your firm can have as many as two individuals assigned to this role. Functions available to the Power User role are:
- Reset user passwords
Important Notes
- An access request form must be submitted for each individual requesting administrative access to Account Center.
- After the request has been received an Xcentric team member will confirm the request with a Partner/Shareholder of your firm via telephone.
- The firm’s Partner/Shareholder has final authority over administrative access assignments.
- Each individual is required to attend or watch a training session on Account Center administration.
- Administrative requests will be typically be completed within 5 business days.
