How can I setup my Android phone to get Xcentric Cloud mail?

This document will show you how to setup an Android phone to work with Xcentric Cloud if the ActiveSync option has already been added to your account.  

Please note that if you have not previously been setup with the ActiveSync option on your account, additional fees will apply.  Please contact your Firm Administrator regarding adding the ActiveSync option to your Xcentric Cloud account.

  1. Touch Menu.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Select Accounts (your phone may read Accounts & Sync).
  4. Touch Add Account.
  5. Select Exchange ActiveSync (your phone may read Corporate Sync).
  6. Enter your Xcentric Cloud email address and password, then touch Next.
  7. Select the items you want to sync.
  8. Touch Finish Setup.
  9. Touch OK to accept the security policy.
  10. View the details of the secuirty policy, then touch Activate.
  11. Touch PIN to setup a PIN number to secure the phone.
  12. Enter a new PIN number to unlock the phone.  The PIN must be 4 or more numbers.
  13. Enter the new PIN again to confirm.
  14. Touch OK.
