How can I view Xcentric Cloud status updates on my iPhone?
With the release of a new Twitter account and website (http://status.xcentric.com) for the status of the Xcentric Cloud, you have the ability to opt in to receiving notifications on the go if we are experiencing an issue. You can receive notifications on your iPhone with a free application, called Boxcar. The instructions below will show you how to set up Xcentric Cloud status notifications on your iPhone.
Here's a sample of what a notification looks like:

Setting up Boxcar for Xcentric Cloud Status Updates
- Download Boxcar (link goes to the App Store) to your iPhone.
- Open the app and go to Settings, then select Add and Edit Services.
- Click the + at the top right of the screen to add a new service.
- Scroll down and select RSS or Atom Feed.

- Give the Feed an identifying name, such as XcCloudStatus.
- Enter the RSS feed url: http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/130941773.rss (This url comes from the Twitter page of the @XcCloudStatus account. You can either type it in by hand, or view this article on your iPhone and copy/paste the URL into the app.)
- Tap Save and you're done. Now, when we post updates to the Twitter account, you will have instant updates popup on your phone. (As long as you toggle Badge Updates to ON in the Feed settings screen shown below.)
