How can I setup my iPad to work with Xcentric Cloud?
The iPad can be configured to access your Xcentric Cloud email as well as to run applications from your Xcentric Cloud Network.
Email Configuration Instructions
When configured to access your email account, you will be able to send and receive email on the iPad as well as view your calendar and contacts. You will need to have the ActiveSync option on your Xcentric Cloud email account to connect the iPad to your mailbox. If you already have an iPhone or other ActiveSync device connected to your Xcentric Cloud email, this article will walk you through configuring email access on your iPad. If you do not have the ActiveSync option on your Xcentric Cloud email account, please contact your firm administrator for information.
Cloud-based Application Access
To use the iPad to launch applications from Xcentric Cloud, you must download the Citrix Receiver from the App Store. Search for Citrix in the App Store and download the Citrix Receiver for iPad. When configured, the Citrix receiver provides a list of your Xcentric Cloud applications and allows you to launch those applications on the iPad. The Citrix Receiver application will provide a list of your available applications, performing the same function as your axessPoint portal site. To configure the Citrix Receiver to connect to the Xcentric Cloud network, follow the steps in this article.
