How do I access my archived messages in Postini?

If your firm subscribes to the Postini email archiving service, you can recover any mail that you have received or sent. The retention period for your mail depends on the subscription; however, the minimum retention period is one year.

  1. Visit http://login.postini.com in your web browser.
  2. Login using your email address and Postini password.  If you don't know your password, click here for instructions on resetting your Postini password.

  3. Once you have logged in, click the Archive tab.

  4. A search box is displayed with basic search fields for searching your mail archive.  Enter the search criteria you want to use. If you would like additional search capabilities, click the Advanced Search link at the bottom of the search form. 
  5. Click the Search Archive button to retrieve the results.

  6. Once you have found the email you want to recover, click the Recover button to the right of the message.  A copy of the message will be sent to your primary email address.
