How can I gain access to another user's calendar in Outlook 2007?
Accessing another user's calendar in Outlook 2007 requires permissions to view that calendar. This process will help you open another user's calendar and request access if you do not currently have permissions to view it.
- In Outlook 2007, click the Calendar button on the left hand side of the window and then click Open a Shared Calendar.

- A dialog box is displayed requesting the user whose calendar you would like to view. Click on the Name button, select the user's name from the address book and click Ok.

- If you do not currently have permissions to view the calendar, an alert will allow you to send an email message to the user requesting permission to view the calendar. (If you already have permissions, the user's calendar will be opened alongside your own.)

- Click Yes to create an access request message. Add any notes and click Send.

- The user will receive the message and have the option of allowing you to view their calendar. An email is automatically returned to the person requesting the access once the user accepts or denies it.
