How do I setup my iPhone to get my mail from Xcentric Cloud?

This document will show you how to setup an iPhone to work with Xcentric Cloud if the ActiveSync option has already been added to your account. 

Please note that if you have not previously been setup with the ActiveSync option on your Cloud account, additional fees will apply.  Please contact your Firm Administrator regarding adding the ActiveSync option to your Xcentric Cloud account.

1. Touch the Settings icon.
   
2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
   
3. In the accounts section, select Add Account.
   
4. In the list of account types, choose Microsoft Exchange.
   
5. On the following screen, enter the Exchange information:
   a. Email: enter your Xcentric Cloud primary email address.
   b. Domain: leave this blank.
   c. Username: enter your Xcentric Cloud username.
   d. Password: enter your Xcentric Cloud password.
   e. Description: you can leave this as the default or change it to a name of your choice.
   Once the fields have been completed, touch the Next button in the upper right-hand corner.
   
6. The phone will now attempt to verify your account information.
   
7. The automatic sync may fail with the error Exchange account verification failed.  If you get this message, please ignore it and continue to the next step.
8. After entering your login information, you may be promtped to accept the certificate.  Choose Accept to continue.
   
9. Touch the Next button in the upper right-hand corner.  If any of the information was typed incorrectly, you will not be able to move past this screen.
10. The next screen asks for the information you want to synchronize with Exchange. Select from the following options: Mail, Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders.
    Note: if you select Contacts or Calendars, all the contact and calendar entries currently on the phone are deleted.
    
11. Touch the Save button in the upper right-hand corner. 
12. Exit the settings menu by pushing the home button at the bottom of the phone.
    
13. If you have not set an auto-lock code for your iPhone, you will be prompted to do so now.
    
14. Select Continue, then enter a passcode when prompted.
     
15. Select Continue, then confirm the new passcode by entering it again. 
    
16. Select Save. The phone will begin syncing information and downloading mail.
17. To access your mail, touch the Mail icon.
18. If you have setup other mail accounts, you can choose to view all accounts in a single inbox, or view your Xcentric Cloud Exchange mailbox only. Touch the Mailboxes button in the upper left of the Mail screen to select the inbox you want to view.
